Scouting Awards for scouts and their leaders:


Any scout actively working on their Catholic religious emblem award needs to submit their completed workbook forms by 3/15/16 to the Diocese of Worcester.  Checks for $15 should be included with the form (paid for by either the scout’s home parish or scout’s unit) made out to the RC Bishop of Worcester.  Completed forms and checks should be mailed to:  Diocese of Worcester, Attn: Deacon Bill White – Catholic Scouting 49 Elm Street Worcester, MA 01609. Scouts will be presented their awards by Bishop McManus on Saturday, 4/30/16 at the 4pm Mass @ The Cathedral of Saint Paul in Worcester.


2016 ADULT AWARDS...Please nominate an adult who stands out in service/dedication to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or American Heritage Girls by 3/1/16.  Click on the award below and then send the completed form to the address above. The Saint George Trek is The National Catholic Committee on Scouting’s® high adventure Catholic leadership program for older Catholic Boy Scouts and Venture Crew members at Philmont Scout Ranch. The program brings Catholic high school youth from around the country together with selected priests, religious and seminarians for eleven days of backpacking in the context of a vocation retreat.  If you will be 15 on or before 7/1/17 and no older than 18 you can apply by clicking on the emblem above.  2 candidates can attend from each diocese.  The trek cost is covered but the scout is responsible for travel.
