We are excited to announce that the the New England Qualifying Tournament (NEQT) is back and will take place March 6-9 and March 15-16, 2025 at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury.

What is the NEQT Tournament?
 The NEQT is a annual basketball tournament for Catholic schools within the Diocese of Worcester. There are 4 divisions - 5/6 grade girls, 5/6 grade boys, 7/8 grade girls, and 7/8 grade boys. The tournament is double elimination and takes place during the frist and second weekends of March. The winner of the NEQT will then be invited to play in the Region 1 Championship Tournament which is comprised of all the Catholic Dioceses located in New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine).

How to register a team
All participating teams must complete the team registration and roster form and all players and coaches must have signed release forms. Click on the buttons below to download those forms. Registration AND roster forms are due no later than February 15, 2025. It would also be helpful for us to receive all the release forms with your registration and roster forms but we understand if this is not possible. Please note that ALL RELEASE FORMS must be returned to the Diocesan office no later than 
February 20, 2025.  Coaches and players will NOT be allowed to participate if their forms have not been received.

Cost
 The tournament is double elimination so all teams are guaranteed two games. The fee to participate in the tournament is $375/team. 
*This year, there will NOT be an additional fee for extra games. The registration fee will cover ALL tournament games.
